Sebrae to hold free online event on cryptocurrencies in business
Entity wants to empower micro and small enterprises in relation to the digital transformation scenario
In an online event with free registration that runs until Friday (29), the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) promotes an event to disseminate and raise awareness of micro and small entrepreneurs across the country about digital transformations in business, which includes disruptive technologies such as blockchain and Web3, related to the metaverse, marketplaces, financial management and cryptocurrencies.
This is the 5th edition of the Digital Transformation Week for Micro and Small Businesses, which offers approximately 25 exclusive contents from several industry experts. This Thursday (28), for example, the influencer and investor Gustavo Caetano, founder and CEO of Sambatech, a company that manages and distributes online videos, makes a lecture about the metaverse, occasion in which the author of the book “Think Simple” addresses the impacts of this virtual universe in business.
The author of the book “The Future of Money” and CEO of the cryptocurrency mining company Arthur Mining, Rudá Pelini, disserts on “Cryptocurrencies: know the impacts of this digital currency for small businesses”. The penultimate day’s schedule also includes two other lectures, one with the CEO of the Local Business Manager course, Leo Junckes, speaking on the topic “How to use Instagram for Local Business + Sponsored Ads,” and another with professor and entrepreneur Edney Souza, InterNey, addressing the topic “Growth Hacking and other Digital Marketing Strategies.”
On Friday, the schedule provides five lectures distributed between 11 am and 7 pm in which the invited experts address topics related to e-commerce, financial management, and social networks.
We want to guide entrepreneurs in the skills necessary for a business management that balances digital and face-to-face assets, according to the needs of each business, emphasizing the importance of not giving up digital platforms even in the face-to-face return, integrating the best of both formats.
With the Covid-19 pandemic, many people realized that digital transformation is the way to promote the competitiveness of their businesses, recover and reinvent themselves in the face of the impacts suffered by businesses across the country. Our goal with the Digital Transformation Week is precisely to help entrepreneurs in the process of digitalization of their business, demonstrating that the culture of innovation is the key to leverage business in a world that is already so connected,” said the event coordinator, Alexandre Souza.
According to Sebrae, digital transformation was already the subject of debates among large companies, and this was accentuated in 2020 with the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, with worldwide impacts that also strongly affected micro and small companies.
Sebrae added that among small businesses, about 5.3 million establishments changed their operations in some way after the pandemic, and of this total, 41.9% decided to continue only with online services and home deliveries.
Over the last few editions, we were able to understand and map the real pains of small and micro Brazilian entrepreneurs. The contents offered in TD Week are designed with a major objective: to help, in a practical way, entrepreneurs to become more competitive in the market, either by using new digital tools to optimize processes, or by making use of ‘hacks’ to get the best out of digital resources, added Digital Transformation’s content director, Igor Lopes.
